Minimum Requirements

Any reliable 1.0 GHz or higher computer (32- or 64-bit) with 3 USB ports. Windows operating system (Win XP or later recommended) with .NET Framework 3.5 or later installed as well as the MS Access database engine. 512MB RAM or higher. 500MB of hard drive space or higher. Windows 7 or later required for speech support in iCHAT (and computer speakers).
Windows XP or later recommended. "Hard-wiring" preferred over wireless networking, as a wireless network is not as secure. Reputable router (D-Link, LinkSys, etc.) needed to connect the computers to your network.
An internet connection to connect to, upload and download the various OHIP files. Floppy disk drive submissions and dial-up connections are phased out.
Printing the various iCARE reports, appointment schedules, documents, etc. requires a reliable printer and some documents require Adobe Reader (free). Recommend a DYMO 450 Labeller for printing file, name, and address labels as well as barcodes.
500MB hard drive minimum. Available USB port for USB drive backups. An internet connection is required for off-site backups to the BryWare server. CD-RW or DVD-RW may also be used for backups.
An internet connection is required for access to the iCARE website and/or to access and download iCARE's Help Documentation and User Guides. iCARE Remote Assistance also requires an internet connection.
